Environmental and socioeconomic assessment of CIRQUA technologies for water reclamation and soil fertilization
Work Package 5 focuses on engaging stakeholders, promoting public awareness, and assessing the environmental and socio-economic impacts of CIRQUA technologies. A Stakeholders’ Engagement Plan will be developed to involve local stakeholders in decision-making through regional communication networks and annual workshops. Citizen science projects like “WaterWatchers” and “Soil Guardians” will involve communities in monitoring water and soil quality, while Living Labs will demonstrate CIRQUA technologies in real-world settings, gathering feedback and promoting sustainable solutions. Public awareness campaigns will target high schools and use social media to enhance understanding and support for CIRQUA technologies. Environmental and socio-economic assessments will evaluate the impact and benefits of the technologies, using Life Cycle Inventory, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Techno-Economic Analysis, and Environmental Risk Assessment. The project aims to ensure broad engagement, demonstrate innovative solutions, and provide data-driven insights for sustainable water management and soil fertilization. Key outcomes include stakeholder engagement, citizen science projects, living labs, comprehensive assessments, and policy recommendations.
